Navigation
Ghost has two navigation areas: Primary navigation for the header and Secondary navigation for the footer.
Step-by-Step- Go to the 'Navigation' settings in the Ghost Admin.
- Add, remove, and reorder navigation items as needed. Use the trash icon to remove an item, type into an empty row to add a new one, and drag items from the left icon to change their order. In Secondary navigation, footer columns are created automatically after several items.
- After adding your items, click 'OK' to update the navigation on your site.
- Add a new item to the 'Primary' navigation.
- Add an item name, such as 'dots', and set the URL to
###. - Drag the item to the desired position. For the best mobile layout, place it as the fourth item.
- Click 'Save' to activate.
By default, Secondary navigation appears in one column named 'Links'. Use placeholder items to split the footer navigation into named columns:
- Add a new item to the 'Secondary' navigation.
- Add an item name to use as the column name, then set the URL to
###. - Drag the item to the desired position. If it is first in the list, it replaces the default 'Links' column name.
- Click 'Save' to activate.
