About section

Add an about section next to the featured posts.

Step-by-Step
  1. To add the about text, go to the 'Design & branding' settings in the Ghost Admin.
  2. Open the 'Theme' tab and go to the 'Homepage' section, then find the 'About text' position.
  3. Enter the about text.

If you want your text in bold, use the <b> ... </b> or <strong> ... </strong> tag, like this:

  1. Click 'Save' to activate.
Tip: How to add a background color or gradient
  1. To add a custom background color or gradient, go to the 'Design & branding' settings in the Ghost Admin.
  2. Open the 'Theme' tab and go to the 'Homepage' section, then find the 'About background color' position.
  3. Choose your color or gradient:
  • Enter a hex, RGB, or RGBA color, for example #ffd5eb. If you leave the field empty, the theme uses the body color. For a light background that adapts between light and dark versions, use var(--color-two).

  3. Set the cover opacity. Lower values make the image more transparent. You can use a percentage such as 80%, where 0% is fully transparent, or a numeric value between 0.8 and 0.
  4. Click 'Save' to activate.
