Dark & color version

Choose how Daigo handles the site color scheme and set an optional global background color for the publication. The theme can stay light, switch to dark, or follow each visitor’s operating system preference with the Auto option.

1. Go to the 'Design & branding' settings in the Ghost Admin.
2. Open the 'Theme' tab and go to the 'Site-wide' section, then find the 'Color scheme' position.
3. Use the dropdown menu to select your option.
4. Click 'Save' to activate.

1. To add a global background color, go to the 'Design & branding' settings in the Ghost Admin.
2. Open the 'Theme' tab and go to the 'Site-wide' section, then find the 'Global background color in hex string' position.
3. Paste a valid hex color, for example #052cff. You can generate one at htmlcolorcodes.com ↗.
4. Click 'Save' to activate.

Modern operating systems let visitors choose a light or dark appearance. Daigo’s Auto option follows that system preference when available.

1. To activate the automatic color scheme based on the visitor’s operating system preference, select the 'Auto' option.
2. Click 'Save' to activate.
